Welcome to the Little Dolphin Parent's Center
LDS PARENT ADVISORY GROUP (PAG)
March 2009
Who We Are/Mission Statement
The LDS Parents Advisory Group (PAG) is a forum for discussion between parents, the LDS administration and Board of Trustees to leverage the volunteer power and expertise of parents to benefit LDS. The primary purpose of the group is to support parent involvement in the school and promote communication with each other and LDS administrators and Board of Trustees. The PAG assists with fundraising and general public relations activities, helps in disseminating news about the school and specific events and needs, and serves as an avenue to bring ideas and suggestions to the administration and Board of Trustees.
Organizational Structure
Group membership is open to all parents at all times, but has the goal of retaining at least one parent representative per classroom. PAG meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at both the Westbrook and Scarborough campuses at 4:30pm. Additional meetings will be scheduled as needed around a specific task or event and coordinated by a lead parent for that activity. A list of member names and email addresses will be made available to the administration, Board of Trustees and participating parents.
