Sheila Brier, BS, Founder
Sheila, a pioneer in the field of early childhood education, has served as an accreditor for the NAEYC, served on the parent advisory board of Scholastic Books, been a consultant to the New York City Board of Education for their Universal Pre-K program, and was a member of the Queens County Council of Preschools.
Steven R. Brier, DC, ATC, CSCS
Dr. Brier is the Executive Director of The Little Dolphin School Foundation, a non-profit educational corporation, specializing in early childhood education. Dr. Brier is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Sports Medicine at The University of Southern Maine. He specializes in pediatric and adolescent athletic medicine, and his first textbook, Primary Care Orthopedics, was published in 1999 by Mosby, Inc. Brier is also the president of Island Medical Consultants, a medical consulting company.
Shannon Silvia, B.S.
Shannon is our education director. She comes to us with a wealth of experience ranging from elementary school teaching in New Hampshire to teaching preschool in Maine. Shannon received her degree in elementary education/early childhood education from Plymouth State College.
Jennifer Marston, BS
Jennifer comes to our school from another learning center, where she was a lead teacher for four year olds. A graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington in 2000, Jenn has been an enthusiastic educator of young children for over 8 years. Jenn has been the Assistant Director of the Westbrook campus since 2007.
